Have I Done Any Good?

M. Russell Ballard said, "It is only when we love God and Christ with all of our hearts, souls, and minds that we are able to share this love with our neighbors through acts of kindness and service—the way that the Savior would love and serve all of us if He were among us today.

When this pure love of Christ—or charity—envelops us, we think, feel, and act more like Heavenly Father and Jesus would think, feel, and act. Our motivation and heartfelt desire are like unto that of the Savior."

The first commandment is to love God. The second is to love our neighbors. Did you know that when you serve others, you are serving God?

In the Book of Mormon, Mosiah 2:17 is says: "17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."

Service doesn't have have to be some huge thing like volunteering at a homeless shelter. You can take cookies to a person in need. You can always find something to do to help other people.

So...what can you do today to help someone in need?
